Spring Break in DC: March 2019
For spring break this year, we headed to Washington DC to spend a few days with Jeff’s sister Stephanie and her family, and then spent the week exploring all of the “touristy” stuff in the city.
Highlights with the Kilpatricks included visiting the Mansion on O Street, Duck Donuts, the local Farmer’s market, and the “at home band” with cousins Ian and Celia. For the rest of the week, we saw the American History Museum, Air and Space Museum, Washington Monument, WWII Monument, Lincoln Memorial, MLK Memorial, Jefferson Memorial, Lincoln Center (where Stephanie and Dave work!) and Natural History Museum (maybe more? We lost track…). We spent a day with Esme’s friend Isaac who happened to be visiting DC for spring break with his family too.
