Jamaica (Spring Break): March 2018

We did something different for spring break this year. Mimi and Papa have some friends who own a vacation home in Jamaica that they rent out, and they bid on (and won!) a charity auction for a week stay at the house, so we decided to go there for spring break.

Esme had her state gymnastics meet the first weekend, so Mom and Han and Brynn flew down and met Mimi and Papa there on Thursday, and then Dad and Esme came on Sunday.

We had a great week — as you can see from the pictures, the house was beautiful and had a fantastic view. Highlights of the week included: a trip to Bamboo Beach (and having it pretty much all to ourselves!); a boat trip to Black Sands Beach (along the way we caught a Barracuda that we ate for dinner!), with a hike to a secluded waterfall and swimming hole; a trip to Dunn’s River Falls; and plenty of time in the pool.
