GiGi and Grandpa Visit: December 2014
We’re a bit out of order chronologically, but we’ve got so many pictures from the past few weeks that we had to break them up somehow. GiGi and Grandpa came to visit a few days before Mom and Dad left for China, and then watched the girls during the visit, so we figured we’d group all the pictures from that time period together.
We were only here for a few of the days, so we can’t give the play-by-play of what happened while we were gone, but from what we heard and from what the pictures show, this included doing puzzles, going to the Magic House, playing at the playground at Tilles Park, celebrating Hanukkah, taking care of a bunch of random chores / housework while mom and dad were gone, arts and crafts and baking, visiting Esme’s rainforest exhibit at school, hanging with Santa at Schnucks (apparently), and modeling some outfits GiGi made.
We’re pleased to report that Gigi and Grandpa did a fantastic job taking care of the girls. Esme and Brynn had a great time and all went well, except for a few minor health issues (no fault of any of the 4 of them). We think GiGi and Grandpa had a good time, though were probably very happy to have reinforcements arrive to help and give them some much needed rest.
