East Coast Trip: July 2014
We recently returned from a great trip to Massachusetts and Washington DC. We spent a few days in Cape Cod with Gigi and Grandpa and a few days in Washington with Aunt Steph, Uncle Dave, and Cousins Ian and Celia (with a brief stopover in Connecticut in between). We had a wonderful time — the girls of course loved all of the attention, and loved playing with their cousins. The weather was pretty mild, which was a nice surprise, though it did make going to the beach and pool a bit chilly.
Highlights included: face painting at Mashpee Commons; visits to the (not crowded at all) beach; tour of the Cape Cod Potato Chip Factory (for real!); candlepin bowling (a Massachusetts tradition); swimming; a visit to the Mystic Aquarium; the National Postal Museum (way more exciting than it sounds); splash park in DC; fun with cousins; and lots of ice cream and other treats.
There are more pictures than can be shown here, so you may want to just go to the SmugMug gallery directly to download the photos or order prints.
